Это не реально потеряный альбом, это ремастерированные треки не вошедшие, по разным причинам, в студийные работы тех лет.
У меня есть почти весь UFO, но то что я услышал является удивительным!
Tracks:
1. Give Her The Gun - early single (pre-Phenomenon). Many of you have already heard this... I think it's really good. Lotsa great Schenker soloing throughout the song. They should have put this on Phenomenon.
2. Sweet Little Thing - I think this was the B-side to the GHTG single. Decent song... it's definitely grown on me. Nice solo.
3. Sixteen - great song, again lots of Schenker... superb solo. My second favorite song here. This would've fit nicely on Phenomenon.
4. A Million Miles - opens with piano and guitar solo. A ballad that Mogg sounds great on. Very melodic guitar solo. Should've been on Force It.
5. All Or Nothing - the Small Faces song written by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane. Very nice rendition.
6. French Kisses - a great rock song (my favorite of the lot - so I made it the title song!). Starts off with a short guitar solo a la Love Lost Love. Mogg sounds awesome here. Nice Schenker solo. How was this not included on No Heavy Petting?
7. Have You Seen Me Lately Joan - another cover song, written by Frankie Miller. UFO turns a mid-tempo rocker into a haunting, slower song (but no piano). Another great Mogg performance, another melodic guitar solo. Good song!
8. Do It If You Can - starts out with just Pete Way's bass (which is featured in this one). Then the band (with Mogg) jumps in. Very good rock song. Another one that has grown on me.
9. All The Strings - a piano ballad that closes the "album". For some reason it reminds me of a Mott The Hoople (or Mott) ballad. Nice song, but a Schenker solo at the end would've made this one great.
